Our rugged kydex axe sheath.
This sheath features a minimalist design. Retention
of the blade is handled by the Kydex, and features positive retention
when sheathing. Axe or hatchet can be removed with one hand with a
simple, vertical, tug on the handle. Immediately at the ready.
All axe sheaths will maintain the same universal
design. They will only change near the bottom portion in order to
facilitate proper retention, and to allow one handed deployment.
Every new axe sheath has our universal mount spacing built right in,
all the way around. Just like every sheath and holster that we make,
all mount holes are universally spaced to allow for any mounting
attachment you need now, or in the future. Lashing it down, plenty of
lash points for your pack or LBE. Molle Lok? Not a problem. Options
are always good.
Spacing of the fasteners is standard so that you can
change from a belt loop option, to molle compatible for your LBE or
pack, or any other accessory that we offer. The hardware can also be
changed from side to side to accommodate either right or left hand
carry as your needs might change given your desired load-out.
Available mounting hardware includes 550 cord, Tek Lok, Molle Lok,
belt loops (we recommend carrying inverted for safety), etc., all
available in the sheath accessories section.
*Sheaths DO NOT come with belt loops or other
mounting hardware. Most of our customers lash their axe sheaths to
their pack using 550 cord, or store them inside. For mounting
options, please visit the accessory section.
*Sheaths will retain the same design regardless of
axe or hatchet, only portion near the handle will change to allow
proper retention, and one handed deployment. The same holds true for
tomahawks, hatchets, Michigan style axes, etc.
